Meet the Film Vandals
The Film Vandals are an award-winning production team based out of Seattle.
Founded by four Central Washington University alumni, Film Vandals has been
producing short films and sketch comedy since 2012.

Kyle Boynton is a producer, writer, and director who thrives in both pre-production and on set. From location scouting to building crews, he ensures every project is set up for success. With a background in theatre, improv, and writing, Kyle brings a storyteller’s instinct and collaborative spirit to filmmaking.
Erik Showacy has been involved with video production for most of his life. Despite his experience in a variety of roles on set, he is happiest sitting in the Director’s chair - though his crew will swear he’s never off his feet during a production. Erik has earned Best Direction for Soul Pending (2022), Invaders Beyond the Sponge (2023), and Best Actor for Flight Risk (2021).
Kaitlin N. Larson is an editor, director, writer, and animator with nearly two decades of experience in film, television, and corporate content. She has completed hundreds of projects, bringing both technical precision and creative vision to her work. Passionate about storytelling, she also draws on her skills in animation and special effects to expand the possibilities of each project.
Jimmy-Dean Candella is a writer, producer, and performer with a focus on comedy and collaboration. He brings creative energy and timing to every project. With experience both on camera and behind the scenes, he works to tell stories that strike at the funny bone.
